Medical Malpractice

landing-medmalpractice2 Let An Expert Take Care of You

In 2003 the Texas Legislature completely rewrote the law in Texas applicable to negligence claims against doctors, hospitals and other health care providers. That law is found at Chapter 74 of the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code. This Chapter contains many provisions that apply only to protect health care providers including very specific written notice provisions, requirements for expert reports at the time of filing a law suit and limitations on damages. These new requirements have, unfortunately, made it almost impossible to prosecute some medical malpractice claims. However, our firm stands very strong for the support of all individuals that have been the victim of negligence or abuse. We are familiar with the requirements of the new laws and will carefully consider any complaint that you may have against a doctor, hospital or other health care provider. If you believe you or a loved one are the victim of medical negligence, we strongly urge you to seek an opinion from a qualified law firm as to what your rights are and to do so as soon as possible. If you have a case that we can handle, we will do so on a contingency fee basis with no up- front cost to you.
