Woman dies after collision with 18-wheeler on Highway 87 East

SAN ANTONIO - A woman is dead after a crash involving an 18-wheeler in East Bexar County.

The accident happened just after 7 a.m. on the 6700 block of U.S. Highway 87 East near South Foster Road.

Bexar County Sheriff's Deputies said when they arrived on scene, they saw the two car crash involving a sedan and an 18-wheeler.

The female driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

Highway 87 was shut down during the investigation.
